The Via dell'amore is open every day with the following hours:
- From October 26, 2025, to March 28, 2026 (last day of daylight saving time): Open to residents at 7:30 a.m.; reservations open at 9:00 a.m.; reservations close at 5:30 p.m.; road closed to all at 1:00 a.m.
- from March 29, 2026 to October 24, 2026 (last day of solar time): opening hours for residents are 7:30 a.m.; reservations open at 9:00 a.m.; reservations close at 9:00 p.m.; road closure for everyone is 1:00 a.m.;
- From October 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027 (last day of daylight saving time): Open to residents at 7:30 a.m.; reservations open at 9:00 a.m.; reservations close at 5:30 p.m.; road closed to all at 1:00 a.m.

For second home owners, former residents of the Municipality of Riomaggiore, and their families, entitlement to access will be verified through a self-certification to be presented upon entry (a form can be downloaded from the Municipality of Riomaggiore website) or through a certificate to be requested from the Municipality of Riomaggiore and subject to identity document verification.
For residents of the province of La Spezia ( excluding the municipalities of Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Monterosso ) entry during visiting hours ( click here to check the opening hours ) is subject to the purchase of the Cinque Terre Card, under the conditions set for single tourists, while outside this time frame it is free, without reservation and accessible in both directions.
Entitlement to access during the free time slot will be verified by checking your identity document.

The ticket includes:
- entrance to the Via dell'Amore,

No, access to the Via dell'Amore is included in the Cinque Terre Card, it is not possible to purchase entry individually.
If you already have a Cinque Terre Card, it is possible to purchase the additional fee that will allow you access to the Via dell'Amore.
The maximum travel time of the Via dell'Amore (900 meters) is 30 minutes, in order to allow access to the next slot.
The Via dell'Amore supplement for tourists residing in the Cinque Terre and in the CETS facilities of the Cinque Terre National Park is €8 instead of €10.
Access is permitted in both directions during the booking time slot and with the same ticket after 5:00 pm, on the days the Cinque Terre card is valid.
Entitlement to access will be verified by checking the identity document and its correspondence with the name on the Cinque Terre Card.
The tourist in possession of the Tourist Card (Riomaggiore Guest card) must necessarily proceed with the purchase of the (discounted) entrance to the Via dell'amore with reservation; however, access is always permitted in both directions and outside the booking time slot for the entire duration of your stay.
Entitlement to access will be verified by checking the identity document and correspondence with the name shown on the Cinque Terre Card and on the resident tourist card.
Tourists in possession of a CETS (Cinque Terre National Park accommodation card) must necessarily purchase (discounted) entry to the Via dell'amore with a reservation.
However, access is permitted in both directions during the booking time slot and with the same ticket after the closing time for visits, on the days of validity of the Cinque Terre Card.
Entitlement to access will be verified by checking the identity document and its correspondence with the name on the Cinque Terre Card.
Entrance to the Castle of Riomaggiore does not require reservation and can be made during the validity period of the Cinque Terre Card purchased
